Our Tactical Edition Blackbird is for the guys who like the AR style assault rifles and don't mind hefting around a longer more deadly weapon. Using a standard Drozd Blackbird as our starting point we added our popular BBMax 1200 rpm mod chip and upgraded the barrel to our 23 5/8" Tactical Rifle Barrel. The upgraded barrel adds 140 feet per second to this gun making this our most powerful BB rifle. To continue with the assault rifle look and feel of the gun we added an AR-15 adjustable shoulder stock and a removable fore grip.
This gun would not be completely tactical if we didn't add as many accessory mounting points as possible so we mounted weaver rails on both sides and the bottom of the gun. Next we needed optics so decided to go with a reflex sight. This sight allows you to acquire your target easier and faster without needing to zero in with a scope. To power the gun we chose to use 48cu of high pressure air remotely connected to gun via a coiled remote hose. The 48cu air tank gives us approximately 600 full power shots per fill and the high pressure air combined with our Tactical Rifle Barrel give this gun a whopping 750 feet per second. To carry the bottle we included an air tank pouch that will fit even the big 90cu air tanks. The pouch mounts to any size belt and provides a comfortable alternative to using a backpack to store large air bottles.
