Drozd BB Gun

The IZH Baikal Drozd imported by EAA is an awesome bb machine gun. This gun offers a select fire system like those offered on police and military weapons. One switch controls the rate of fire (ROF) with settings for 1, 3, or 6 round bursts. Meaning that each time you pull the trigger either 1, 3, or 6 bb's are fired simultaneously. The second switch controls how fast those rounds are actually fired as rounds per minute (RPM) with settings for 300, 450, and 600 rounds per minute.

Another thing that makes this automatic bb gun so great is that it can be modified to perform better than the stock specifications. With simple Drozd mods that are both relatively cheap and easy to install the Drozd bb gun can be made to shoot at 1200+ rounds per minute in fully automatic mode. This means that as long as you hold down the trigger the IZH Drozd will keep firing. Other Drozd accessories include replacing the stock 12g CO2 powerlets with paint ball style tanks for CO2 and high pressure air (HPA). You can even buy aftermarket Drozd barrels which will increase your muzzle velocity and accuracy.

All modifications to the gun void its factory warranty but this is not a problem because of how well the Drozd bb gun is made. Made from high density plastic and steel this gun is extremely sturdy. The Drozd comes stock from the factory with a removable and adjustable butt stock as well as a scope mount for accessories such as a red dot scope. The Drozd bb gun is a bb submachine gun, meaning that it is slightly larger than a bb pistol but smaller than a bb rifle. When you first pick it up you realize that the Drozd is not a toy and is indeed a serious piece of hardware for air gun enthusiasts.
